Designated as a Type 2 special zone within Ise-Shima National Park by the Ministry of the Environment, construction work must be reported but it possible because there is designated residential land.
The island itself is relatively flat with lots of greenery, and there are plenty of landing points. Without a doubt this is an uninhabited island that tickles your senses of fun.
To access this island it is about 3 hours drive from Chubu Centrair International Airport near Nagoya and then a short 5 minute boat ride from the closest harbour.
