375-2 Aza Sakuragawa: Makkari Land
375-2 Aza Sakuragawa, Makkari, Hokkaido
Magnificent views to Views of Mt. Yotei, tranquil Makkari farmland, and a quiet stream running along the property line make this an ideal piece of paradise.
The photos simply cannot do justice to the scale of the country views, which also encompass rolling hills. The flat, triangular lot has plenty of space to build a home. A series of well established white birch trees provide summer time shade on the southern side, and also privacy from the only adjoining neighbor house.
Access is a snap from the Hokkaido prefectural road. Although snow cleared, the road is not a through road in winter, meaning it is used almost entirely by just the local residents. Makkari town water is provided though a pipe buried on the other side of the road.
Adding to the charm is a small stream that flows along the property line on the Mt. Yotei side.
From this very private retreat, you can easily access the Niseko resort bases in about 20 minutes, under 20 minutes to Rusutsu Resort, and in summer it is hard to beat the 30 minutes to gorgeous Lake Toya. Our personal favorite? The 5 minute drive to Jin Pan Bakery to start the day!
