Hakuba is a hugely popular year-round resort located north of Tokyo. With some of the best skiing in Japan in winter and access to the Japanese Alps in summer it is a must visit!
While perhaps less famous than its northerly neighbours of Niseko and Rusutsu, Hakuba is seeing a surge in demand from international investors looking for a different feel than the Hokkaido resorts. Its location a couple hours north of Tokyo has seen visitation remain strong even during the pandemic and all eyes are on the demand once international visitation returns.
