Japanese for Big Snow, local Niseko brand OYUKI has been on our radar since at least 2013 so we’re stoked that they’re opening two flagship stores around the world this winter season—one in Japan’s powder city Hakuba and the other in North America’s biggest resort, Whistler in Canada.
With a history rooted in the demands of the world’s snowiest places, OYUKI’s gear is crafted to withstand the harshest winter challenges which means that you can focus on the thrill of the ride and not simply on surviving the elements.
Now, not only will you be able to browse the OYUKI collection of gloves, mitts, baselayers, hats and beanies and more, and try on your favourite wish list pieces in store—from the full Winter ’26 collection to exclusive, limited edition pieces and collabs you won’t find anywhere else—but the stores are also envisioned as a bit of a local meeting spot/hang out community for like-minded souls who share a passion for the thrill of deep powder and adventure. Open in Happo, Hakuba (Next to evo Hotel) from December '25 to April '26 and Whistler Village from November ‘25 to April 26’, we can't wait to check it out. We'll see you there!
