Due to the high acidity, only ugui or big-scaled redfin have resided on the beach. During mid-October, many tourists and locals visit to view the tree's changing colours surrounded by the lake.
Oiraise Mountain Stream
Also known as Oriase Keiryu, this stream stretches 14 kilometres from Nenokuchi on Lake Toawada to Akiyama with Ashura Current and Choshi Otaki waterfall. During summer, the best time to visit is from May to June, while during the fall season, it's best to visit from mid to late October. Whether you walk or ride a bike around the stream, you'll enjoy the picturesque views.
Tsurunomai Bridge, Aomori
Tsurunomaihashi is a 300-metre triple-arch bridge made of a full hiba wood with a view of the Tsugaru Fujimi Lake. There are two main photo spots on the bridge. The first is near the Tsurunomai Bridge parking lot, and the second spot is near Tanchotsuru Shizen Koen (Crane Nature Park), which shows the view of the bridge with Mount Iwamoto in the back.
Hachimantai Dragon Eye, Akita to Iwate
It's a rare sight to see if you are lucky! When the snow starts to melt in Kagami-numa (Kagami Pond), you can witness the dragon's eye, measuring about 50-metres in diameter. Depending on the weather condition, the shape and colour of the eye can change. The best time to visit is from mid-May to mid-June.
