Niseko enjoyed its first snow for the winter season of 2021-22 today!
Winter is most definitely coming! The weather suddenly turned and Niseko, Asia's most famous ski resort, enjoyed its first snow for winter 2021-22 overnight.
Local photographer Glen Claydon was out and about to catch the first snow, known in Japan as Hatsuyuki (初雪). You can follow his daily snow reports throughout the winter on his excellent 360niseko site.
