Dear Niseko, a new short film from Uchi, takes a different approach. We step away from the usual 100% focus on snow and instead reflect on the quieter details that define the area. Time spent with family, the rhythm of daily life, the surrounding nature, and the people who shape the community all come into view.
For Uchi, Niseko is not just another location. It is where the company began, and remains central to its identity today. This film is intended as a simple expression of that connection.
Dear Niseko also serves as a preview of a longer feature film currently in production, scheduled for release later this spring.
