We whole-heartedly congratulate the winner of the 2022 Christmas Giveaway in partnership with Perfect Moment and iGATE IKEUCHI Niseko. Almost 1,000 participants and ski lovers joined the holiday giveaway, but there could only be one lucky winner of the ski wear worth $4,000.
We are super excited for the ONE lucky winner, Deborah Tan. We had the opportunity to converse with her as she shared her story and what she likes about Uchi, skiing in Japan and the contest.
Deborah currently lives in Malaysia, and during her holidays she loves to come to Hokkaido with her family to experience all the wonders of this incredible place. During the recent pandemic, she and her family were dreaming of their next trip to Japan and once booked she was searching for various Facebook posts online about Hokkaido, and she encountered Uchi's poster and bumped into the contest.
"The prizes were attractive because usually ski gear is not cheap and it was really easy to join the competition. I entered my email and liked it on Facebook and shared it."
It was during their trip to Hokkaido that she received an email with the announcement of her victory in the competition.
Her excitement and happiness extend to her love for skiing inspired by her father, who used to travel to Niseko for skiing activities. "There were 6 of us going to Japan, our top pick of all countries for winter sports, and my dad loves skiing. He loved to go to Niseko to ski and he taught us how to ski. It was my daughter's first time skiing as well. It was really fun!"
She's looking forward to trying on the gear on their next skiing trip and giving her father a present with the men’s outfit. Additionally, she was thrilled to discover the opportunities from the leading real estate portal in Japan as she looks forward to upcoming announcements and updates from Uchi.
