Green Magic
What a great time to be alive in Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort with the Green Magic event from May 3-6. Many local and international guests attend to relax and unwind with the lively music surrounded by the great natural landscapes of Japan.
Fuji Rock Festival
One of the largest music festivals in Japan, Fuji Rock will take place from July 28-30 this year. Located at the Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture, this event will be a blast with an exciting lineup of international and local performances from The Foo Fighters, Lizzo, The Strokes, Denzel Curry, Alanis Morisette and many more.
4100D Mountain Trail
One of the most awaited running events in Nagano Prefecture is the 4100D Mountain Trail. Happening this July 16 at the village of Nozawa Onsen, participants can join various trails, including 65 kilometres, 37 kilometres and 14 kilometres. After a long trail adventure, visitors can treat themselves to delicious local eateries in town or recuperate in the onsen!
Kutchan Jaga Matsuri
Celebrate the harvest season with the Kutchan Jaga Matsuri that will occur on August 5-6 in the Niseko area. With vibrant parades, lively traditional performances, flavourful local treats, overflowing drinks and spectacular fireworks, you don’t want to miss this fun and memorable event.

Heads up cyclists! The largest and longest bike adventure trail is coming to Hakuba from October 7-9. The Grinduro features an art and music festival with different food stalls to enjoy. Summer Sky Snow Festival
Missing snow in this green season? Say no more! Head to the Summer Sky Snow Festival to be held in the last week of July at the Muikamachi Hakkaisan Ski Resort.
