As Hokkaido’s largest all-season resort, Rusutsu is beloved for its magical winter skiing and vibrant summer landscapes. Rusutsu Resort has been celebrated at the World Ski Awards, winning the title of Japan’s Best Ski Resort in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Rusutsu Resort has a large ski area covering three mountains with stunning scenery and acres of off-piste tree runs. Receiving an annual average snow fall of 14m, Rusutsu offers some of the best powder and tree skiing available. Although famed for its winter’s, Rusutsu remains a popular destination in summer with plenty of activities such as golfing, enjoying the amusement park and the hot springs. Unlike Niseko, Rusutsu is owned in its entirety by Kamori Kanko, Hokkaido’s largest tourism and hospitality company. This ensures that the reinvention of Rusutsu Resort is an ambitious and meticulously planned project.
